JVCKENWOOD Video Tech Has Completed the Assessmentby TPN from Hollywood

Tokyo, August 1, 2019 – JVCKENWOOD Video Tech Corporation (Video Tech), a Japan’s post-production company, has completed the assessment process of Trusted Partner Network (TPN).

TPN is a new stringent security assessment program that was developed in 2018 by Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) in cooperation with Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA).

In March 2014, Video Tech became the first Japanese production company to earn a CDSA certification, pushing the importance of the security of its clients’ intellectual properties on both software and hardware. To ensure the continuation of the most modern and secure environment, Video Tech completed the TPN assessment process this July.

Of the completion, Video Tech President Kakuro Obata said, “While it is said that it usually takes a period of six months to a year to achieve the security standards required to attain certification from TPN, we were able to earn the certification within a mere three months. Due to our tradition of high security, in accordance with CDSA’s regulations, when we applied for the TPN certification, we had a big head start. With the completion of this annual security assessment, along with the improvement of our high-level security structure, in addition to our outstanding client service, we are aiming to raise the bar for the movie production industry.”

Video Tech will continue the handling of its clients’ valuable intellectual properties even more carefully. At the same time, through long experience in the post-production business in Japan, Video Tech will aim to expand its global services further on.
